We are a family of five, and currently living in Richmond, Virginia. Before moving to the United States of America nine years back, we were residents of Saudi Arabia for more than ten years. The USA is our home now, but we are missing Saudi Arabia a lot because of Allah's House "the Kaaba".

In the year of 2016, we planned to visit Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, because it has been a long time since we last visited. So, we started our research on the net to find out, the requirements to get Umrah visa, how to get there, things to do, where to stay and how to perform Umrah rituals.

During our initial research what we found is that there are big companies and tour operators out their online, who are offering from cheap to luxury Hajj and Umrah packages, but the information we were looking to plan a trip to Makkah to perform Hajj and Umrah was spread across multiple websites. So, we thought why not build a unique-content website NOT a regular-website for "Guests of Allah's House" who're planning to visit Makkah city for Hajj or Umrah. This is how the MakkahVisitors.com website came in to existence.

We are working hard to provide comprehensive list of information on Makkah and Madinah Cities, Hajj, Umrah, tourism, including recommendations on things to do and where to stay, as well as it's landmarks, mountains, hotels, resorts, maps, pictures, and much more for Makkah visitors.
